Unit Renewal Soon - Leader not renewed

Hello,
Our Unit Renewal is up in 15 days and I still have a leader that has not renewed his membership.
What are my options as the date nears. Can I ask council to drop him and he can re-register after? I have reached out to the leader multiple times and “they will look into it”.

Additional question, I have an old leader still in the roster, I thought I had removed from Scoutbook but seems still in the main roster under my.scouting.org. Is this another Council thing or the COR can remove him?

@metsfanli12 - the unit renewal is independent of member renewal. If you want to remove an old leader your would select the opt-out toggle and they will drop off after the 90 day window.

So even though his renewal has lapsed, the system will still let me do the unit renewal? his name has a yellow triangle with exclamation mark.

@metsfanli12 - if there are no warnings in the unit renewal you can proceed through the 4 steps

If the leader is not one of the required positions, then the unit should be able to renew without him.

I currently have the issue where a leader with a lapsed renewal is in a required position.

I moved a new leader with a current membership into that position, but I am not able to move the old leader out.

I cannot save any changes because I get the message that there are too many people assigned to the Committee Chair position.

So, I cannot resolve the error that I am missing people from other roles because I am not able to save any changes.

@AdamStensland Did you just make the change today? If so, then you need to wait for the overnight sync to run.

If it has been more than 24 hours, then please contact your local council for assistance.

As long as his YPT doesn’t error for the unit. If it does, you’ll have to opt them out or have them do their YPT.

YPT is good for the Leader.

With too many in a position blocking progress, you are stuck, However, the council registrar has super powers to fix things. Contact your registrar with the details of what you need done ASAP. Since the problem is holding up your unit renewal, your problem may move to the front of the line.

I didn’t have any issues going through the renewal process. Now i’m stuck at the payment part.
I got all the information from our treasurer for ACH payment and It seem to fail, a quick message popup saying failed and them a transaction pending message came up. So waited about an hour and we tried by Credit Card (both pack accounts) and same thing transaction pending. Said an email was sent, not sure who is getting the email. Maybe the COR is getting the email.
We will wait a day or so and see what happens. If nothing happens we will pay at council.
