However, someone in my daughters Troop sent me a second Scoutbook invitation (highlighted below).

@GerardLucarelli see how the Chain link is broken? that means an admin can erase it (maybe you as a parent- never tried that)
@GerardLucarelli The issue is that you have 2 BSA member ID numbers, and your parent / child relationships are split between them.
Please contact your local council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child with first initial “A.” In the “Relationships” tab / section, ask them to remove your parent / child relationship under your secondary BSA member ID number, the one ending in -989. Then they should add your parent / child relationship under your primary BSA member ID number, the one ending in -766.
