Updating the Service Project Category for older Projects

Before Scoutbook moved to the current activity log, hours could be tracked in the old Scoutbook. When the shift happened, all of the old events now appear as “Self-reported” category since there was no way previously to record Conservation Hours.

I would like to change older events from “Self-Reported” to “Conservation Hours” but I cannot edit an Approved activity. My Scoutmaster was also unable to save any edits to that activity.

We could change it but not save it.

Since Conservation Hours are needed for awards like the National Outdoor Conservation Award, how do we update this Project type?

This is a known issue that events imported from Scoutbook cannot be updated. We have asked BSA IT to make these events editable but as of now, they have not scheduled a fix.
