User Summary of RSVP Status

When a user RSVPs CONFIRM | DECLINE | MAYBE or DOES NOT RSVP to a Calendar event for a future event, settable during event creation, a Summary should show up when they log in and be printable/downloadable.
There is no way currently for a user to know what they have responded to without opening each event. Life changes. A user CONFIRMS participation three months in advance, then something happens so they are unable to attend two months later and they don’t have the CONFIRM still “on their radar” as something that needs updating. Result, difficult to plan for event and know true RSVP status. This is exacerbated by parents attending not being listed BY NAME on the RSVP report.

Yeah see what you are saying - not sure how complex it could be working in parent relationships - but will pass it on to put in the backlog

@TopDog well parent response for each scout is listed in top section where the scouts are listed - just not in the cleanest format as it is organized by scouts.

It is actually a tough call - now at the top I look at scouts - organized - and I have parents right there with response. If parents are just listed in middle section, might not be as clean jumping from Scout to parent. Will have to give it some thought.

Maybe something centered around a feature similar to the old “Upcoming Events” list in terms of interface?

The concept would have a list of upcoming events (ideally to include both those occurring in the near term and those with RSVP deadlines in the near term, once such are implemented). That list would be linked to the respective calendar events so invitees/parents could easily modify RSVP status. The event name/link would be followed by an RSVP count: one set for youth and one set for adults. The RSVP icons would share the symbol and color used in the RSVP interface in events. A numeric prefix would be applied to each existing status, with any unused status not being displayed.

For example,

EventName(hyperlinked) 1

1

Youth. 2

Adult

ETA: Oops. The mobile interface doesn’t lend itself to scaling the graphics. I’ll fix it once I’m at a desktop.

Now - by selecting a date on calendar - on the right side all events for that day show and each has an RSVP area at bottom - a bug where names are not shown is being worked now.

Yes, that makes sense. Since the Troop Calendar shows, port over the RSVP status: YES | NO | MAYBE | NOT RESPONDED
Color makes it “Pop” Green | Red | Orange | Blue

Adults need to be differentiated by name. Parents who RSVP are not by-name accounted for, just “Parents Invited” with a number. You have to edit the event and scroll thru the entire list to find who they are.Jon Newton (BigDog)
