Recently, I’ve had an issue where some data has gone missing in Scoutbook, such as:
- Leaders no longer showing up on the roster. Not all of them, just most of them, such as me, the scoutmaster and admin.
- Positions for scouts. Again, not all of them, just some of them.
- Merit Badge Councilor status. This will be the 4th time I have had to reapply to be a councilor in 2 years.
This is a problem, as I can’t input data for other scouts when I am not attached as scoutmaster for our troop. My local council office has submitted a ticket, as I show as Scoutmaster in my.scouting.org and in their records, but national was silent for over a week. Thankfully, one of the other Troop admins wasn’t deleted and was able to add most of the adults back, but I’ll still need to go through and add the leadership positions, reset permissions, etc. All with not a peep from the BSA on what, if anything, went wrong.
