Just to clarify, a unit leader (Cubmaster as an example) has to be added to all of the functions, not auto-admin?
@JeremyGinsberg - the key 3 are automatically unit admins
I can confirm that (as a registered ASM who is also a functional Key 3 Delegate) my access hasn’t decreased as of today. I suspect that the permissions that derived from registered Key 3 positions and/or functional roles assigned at my.scouting passed through to the new granular permissions state automatically.
Everybody else is scrambling to figure out how to “correct” their access using the new permissions structures.

The PDF at MAJOR CHANGE INFORMATION: Moving away from Connections is VERY IMPORTANT AND INFORMATIVE. All registered positions will have the permissions defined (look at the icon legend) for that position automatically.

These forums are the most unintuitive thing I’ve seen in awhile. See no way to ask a question or start a new topic. Anyway, I just need to tie my new member ID (140889321) to my SB+ account I am a parent in DEL-MAR-VA council. In SB I can see my scout/child but in SB+ I only see my older son who dropped out of Scouts years ago. It seems to be tied to my old ID (128114464) from Chester County council.

@JamesNichols5 for such an adopted large system like Discourse that tons of corporations use - why they have it that way for THEIR system (not Scouting Americas) BLOWS my mind

This is not universal to Discourse. In another forum I’m in ,you click New Topic (pencil icon), then are forced to pick your category and can choose optional tags before you can write a title & body copy.
