View progress/percent completed for entire Den

No one in our Pack has been able to figure out how to see how far along each Scout is toward Rank Advancement for the entire Den. We have 13 AOL’s or something like that, and it’s frustrating to have to click through on every single Scout to see it. Scoutbook used to have this screen, but no longer.

The most effective way I know of now is to use Report Builder to create a report for each den on their currently-pursued rank.

ETA: You can save the report templates in Report Builder Manager when you create them, and share them with other scouters in the pack who have the relevant access to the scouts (e.g. DL & ADL, Cubmaster, Advancement Chair)

I saw Report Builder referenced when I searched for this, but I can’t find it. Is it available to all Den Leaders or just certain Leaders?

I usually get to it via Classic Scoutbook (since in ASM in a troop). I don’t immediately see it in Scoutbook Plus, so I’ll say try going to classic Scoutbook to see if you have access. You might have to go to the den roster and look under Den Reports to find it.

ETA: OK, not sure if the pack works the same way as my troop, but I only see Report Builder Manager under the Troop Reports menu, not the Patrol Reports menu. Maybe you’ll need a Key 3, Key 3 Delegate, Advancement Chair or Unit Admin to create the report for you.

I am a cubmaster and I cannot find report builder in scoutbook plus.

Is anyone else able to find it?

I agree that the overview of a den showing progress towards rank was really helpful in the past.

@AdamStensland - report builder can be found in scoutbook classic at scoutbook.scouting.org > the unit page > then reports

Understanding there is a workaround, but agreed that this would be a ridiculously helpful feature.

Ideally, what I would want to be able to do is run a report for a den that gives me:
-Scout’s name (% complete)
-list of major requirements scout needs to make rank (ie, adventures still incomplete)
-Option to include minor requirements (ie, individual requirements for each adventure that scout still needs to complete.)

Another report I’d love is a slightly different variant: for a den, give me a summary of which requirements my kids still need to make rank, and just give me the number of scouts that need it.
Ie:
Adventure ABC, Requirement 2: 3 scouts
Adventure XYZ, Requirement 1: 5 scouts

This helps me prioritize which requirements we should go back and re-incorporate in den meetings and which i should tell the parents to catch up on at home.
