I am attempting to make a “volunteer application.” When I am filling out basic information, some of the prefilled textboxes can not be adjusted. It says that my first/ last name have white spaces around them and are currently invalid. I can not adjust my name and it will not allow me to continue in the application process.

I looked around the site and was unable to find a place like “change account settings”, where I can change the white-spaces around my name.

The application should automatically strip any leading/trailing whitespace. I have notified the developers but in the mean time, contacting your council to remove extra whitespace from the DB may be the fastest recourse.
