What to do with retired awards under 'Needs Awarding' report

Hey there, Unit Advancement Chair here.

Our former Tiger (now Wolf) den was a bit ambitious last year and almost all members have multiple awards that are in the ‘Needs Awarding’ report that are retired from 2022. They all are marked as ‘Purchased’ with a PO# on them as well.

Question: How do I clear these off the right way? It’s an interesting situation because they all completed the adventures in the 2023-2024 school year, but the awards were all retired on 5/31/2022. So even though they technically ‘earned’ them, they weren’t available to be earned.

My concern is mostly on their Scoutbook profile being incorrect. I don’t think any of them are expecting an actual award at this point.

Should I just mark them all awarded and move on with our year, or is there some way to clear these off their record? I know I can remove the award in Scoutbook Plus, but is that the right thing to do in this situation?
