Hi! We have Scouts that are unfortunately not continuing this year, but they naturally show up in ScoutBook. Is there anything we should do with them? Is there a way to mark them inactive so they do not show up in ScoutBook?
Thanks!
Tyler

Very interested to know what to do in this situation as well.
@GregPalleschi , @TylerLandas - i create a den/patrol for inactive recharter removals. Move the scouts over, delete connections save for the admins, unapprove their membership.
This is what I do as well. I actually go a step further and have a den for each rank that is reserved to putting scouts of that rank that have either gone inactive or are no longer going to participate (just in case they change their mind)
Thanks @Stephen_Hornak and @RobertWiseman . That makes a lot of sense - especially in case they want to re-join.
In TroopTrack, you can deactivate them and they still around which is nice.
Can you clarify what you mean by “unapprove their membership”?
I currently just have a single “inactive” den that i put them all in, but would love to have them shift off the roster into an unapproved status!
@its_AJ - go to the scout, then scroll to the membership line, click on that and look for this
thanks for the quick reply! i had poked around and found it. I was looking for this through scoutbook+ and found it was one of the functions that only work in scoutbook.
