Where is the button to show that you have "AWARDED" the merit badge or rank Advancement

I see where you “Start” the Merit Badge.
I see where you “Approve” the Merit Badge.
I do not see where you “Award” the Merit Badge.

How do I change the Blue Checkmarks to Gold Stars?

That is done in the needs awarding report under troop reports.

In internet advancement there is no place to mark awarded - you can log into Scoutbook.scouting.org and do it there
