Our Youth Recognition Report has started to show Adult awards (yay?) specifically A90 (Wood Badge). ref: PD-20240926114850-584619-174917.
A90 does not show up on our Needs Awarding report. If you put it on one, you gotta put it on the other! Otherwise, we don’t know what to buy at the store, and we can’t mark the award as Awarded.
Our preference would be to get the Adult awards off of the Scout Recognition Report, but if we are stuck with them (as we seem to be) then we need a way to run them through our process.
This bug
I filed this bug because there needs to be an interface where somebody can mark this training as being awarded, otherwise it sits around on the report forever - and comes back forever when you choose the helpful “showing any awards outside the date range if they are not marked awarded,” checkbox, or neglect to go through the extra step of entering a start date.

As we have said, A90 comes from the adult’s training record in Akela. There is no where in the system to mark A90 as “awarded”. Even if there was, it would be up to the staff of the Wood Badge course to indicate the Wood Badge recognition was presented.

The Wood Badge recognition items are included of the Wood Badge registration fee and presented by the Wood Badge staff after the completion of the Wood Badge ticket. The participant, working with the Wood Badge staff determines when and where the Wood Badge recognition (beading ceremony) will occur.
A90 appears on the unit’s recognition report because many units want to recognize their leaders who complete Wood Badge and earn their beads.

Exactly! We are talking about the same thing. Wood Badge has no business being on the Unit Recognition Report for all the reasons you just gave. It is even in the documentation!
RECOGNITION REPORT
This report available to unit admins and selected leaders is available in the unit reports menu. It provides information that is needed to help organize Pack meetings, Courts of Honor and similar recognition events. Options include a date range, showing any awards outside the date range if they are not marked awarded, show all approved awards inside the date range, even if they are marked awarded. Several sort options are provided. The report can be displayed on the screen (formatted for desktop or mobile), dumped to either PDF or CSV. The Recognition Report is available to unit leaders on the unit page under Reports.
Closing thread as the report is working properly. Enter a start date to filter out old training data.
