That changed nothing. I’m not surprised, since this error is happening across different browsers, devices, and users.
I’m running into the same issue as well:
“You have encountered a problem with this feature. Please clear your cache and try again. If this does not resolve your issue, please contact your council.”
I’m trying to add calendar events in IA, being able to see the calendar and events but this message appears when clicking the plus icon to add an event or “exit event”. I’ve been directly arriving at IA by typing the URL into multiple browsers (Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and Edge) on iOS and iPadOS. Nothing works. This includes clearing the cache, deleting browser history, and running in private windows. It works fine on my work PC under Microsoft Edge and Chrome.
@Christopher_Hagge - i am inclined to think it is an iOS issue. My wife noted some odd behavior on her iphone after the latest update
@Christopher_Hagge - is your IOS version 18.2 and your IOS @GwendyDarling
Yep. I’m in the latest iOS and iPadOS version, both 18.1.1. An incompatibility with IA/Scoutbook Plus and iOS very well could be the issue. If this is the case, hopefully the BSA devs can fix it.
Thank you!
@Christopher_Hagge - it worked for my wife on her 18.1.1 iphone. Beyond that i think it is an ios issue which the bsa can not fix.
Enable Web Inspector:
-
Open Settings on your iOS device.
-
Navigate to Safari.
-
Scroll to the bottom and tap Advanced.
-
Toggle Web Inspector to “On”.
This has been reported to the developers.
Do you know how to fix this issue using an Android phone?
I am having the same issues. I was able to use it a few days ago and now it keeps giving me the same error with everyone. I wish it didn’t kick you to Scout book plus. The App won’t let me even access any other Scouts but my own child and still kicks me to this message.
