Im getting thi smessage whenI try to sign off a scout: Youth is not eligible to earn this advancement or you do not have permission to edit advancements.

I’m a committee member and I’m a merit badge counselor for the region.

In order to debug this issue, we need to look at the Scout’s record in the database, thus the request for the Scout’s Scouting America Member ID (no names)

I don’t understand your question. The scout is in my troop. I added him through instructions I read online.

Yes I’m trying to sign him off. I have a complted workbook and dates.

@JamesForte - in the upper-right is a dropdown make sure you select the merit badge counselor role not the committee role.

Thanks for that. Once I switched profiles, I was able to approve the merit badge. The dates get all jumbled when you approve and default to today’s date, the date of approval.
