I’m not able to generate a report that contains our Troops Youth Leadership. When I open the Roster I can see positions next to a Scouts name. When I look at Unapproved Leadership, Scouts are listed (this view is not exportable or printable). When I use Roster Builder and select “Show Leadership Position” the Position field is blank for all Scouts. Any help would be appreciated?
This setting works fine for me - are the leadership positions approved? if not that is the problem I bet. It is like the scouts just entered for themself - Approve is leader saying YES this scout has this position
Thanks, I’ve tried the “Show Leadership Positions” for both Approved and Unapproved positions. Get the same result, no data in the position field of the report.

It could help to add that our Troop is new to using Scoutbook. Could something in the assignment of Leadership positions be creating this problem?
Are the youth leadership positions approved?
@RobinRobbins- and please do not post scout names or images with scout names on a public forum
Thanks, removed names. Not sure how to best display the problem?
Just give us the Scouting America Member ID and we can look.

The SPL position is not approved. Go to his leadership in Scoutbook Plus (https://advancements.scouting.org) and approve it.
I approved the position and ran the report, now shows position in report. Thank you!
I obviously don’t understand what the term “Approved” signifies? I would think it means the Scout has completed their obligations in the leadership position and receive credit? With the position just starting (11/4), does approved mean something else?
@RobinRobbins - approved means approved to be in that leadership position not approval of the job done
Ok. Where would approval of job done get entered? By the way, you are being very helpful, thank you!
@RobinRobbins - that is up to the Scoutmaster to determine that and if the scout is not up to the task then the position is given to someone else and the position ended. This is a policy discussion which is not what these forums are for
I assume you’re asking where the credit for serving in a position of responsibility is marked? That’s signed off individually under the advancement section on the respective ranks where filling a PoR is required.
Thank you, that gets to my question and makes sense.
