YPT completion date 1 January

My son, having just turned 18, has taken the online YPT training and his new certificate is dated 1 Jan 2019 - 1 Jan 2021 even though he completed it on 18 Dec 2019. Is this by design? I expected the training to be valid for two years from the date of completion.

@LorenzoDa_Ponte - I just retook YPT and my cert sent to me shows 12/16 as completed and expiration. Certainly those who would be able to answer why his is different are not on these forums.

I recommend sending an e-mail to myscouting@scouting.org to find out why the dates are incorrect.
