YPT Completion status is stuck

I am a ACC from Laurel Highlands Council. I help manage & troubleshoot the Membership & Unit Renewals in my council. I have a registered adult that took & completed YPT training on 09/24/2024.
BSA ID# 14174996. the registered adult sent me screen shots showing 100% completed on all modules. But his YPT status dashboard remains - Expired. Please advise on next recomended step.

@VernonSmith1 - are all dates within 60 days of each other and the correct sco codes for all 4 modules

The issue is that this user has 2 BSA member ID numbers:

  • 14174996 - Uses nickname. Has registration history as a registered adult leader. Has parent “relationship” to child 1.

  • 132775312 - Uses full first name. Has registration history as a Lion and Tiger Adult Partner. Has parent “relationship” to child 2.

He did the training under his secondary BSA member ID number (132775312). However, there was more than 60 days between SCO_3008 and the other modules (SCO_3009, SCO_3010, SCO_3011).

@VernonSmith1 I think I might have found a third BSA member ID number, but the date of birth is different.

135776293

I would recommend that he contact the council and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up his children. In the “Relationships” tab / section, he should be listed as parent only under his primary BSA member ID number: 14174996. They should remove him as parent under the secondary BSA member ID numbers to help prevent future issues.

…and, due to the elapsed time between taking the modules as Stephen and Jennifer noted above, the scouter will likely need to retake the entire YPT series (SCO_3008 through SCO_3011, inclusive). Depending on the timing, it might make sense to wait until after all of the BSA IDs are put under management with one login to retake YPT to avoid having things fail to “carry over” during the process. It should all merge if the whole training is completed. I don’t know what would happen if the scouter was in the process of taking training when the separate BSA IDs are all put under management.
