Parent took YPT, shows copleted page, then shows never taken

I have ANOTHER Parent from the same Pack (his son is in the Troop now) who took YPT today, completed it and texted me a screen shot of the Green Check “Mandatory Youth Protection Training”. When he went into “My Training” it shows “Nevr Taken”. I asked him his Member ID and he is showing a different # than the one attached to his son’s Scoutbook profile. How do we fix it? I have both Member ID numbers - Thanks in advance - Bill

They can try to log into my.scouting.org > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > Then go to Scoutbook.com and log in using your my.scouting.org credentials
If all the data does not match exactly it will not work

Or you can post numbers here and we can look @WilliamMount

Numbers are as follows:
The one he shows: 140364446
The one in Scoutbook (attached to his son) 14776078
Thanks again!

@WilliamMount this is cleaned up

I recommend that They contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up the children. When they look up the children, they want to check children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that children are connected to parent with Only the correct BSA member ID number 14776078

Now I am showing the 140364446 account # when I follow him from his son’s Scoutbook and still no YPT - UGH!

@WilliamMount YPT is there - where are you looking

He is able to access and emailed to me. Thank you.

 Bill

I have one showing the same: Application ID 201010180. Can you look up by that number? His training shows completed on myscouting, but not for the application process.

@AndrewBrewer We need a BSA member ID number or a Scoutbook userID.

Your local council should be able to look up based on the application number.

He sent me this: 140219933

YPT is not complete. The problem is all 4 YPT courses must be taken within 60 days of each other. He took SCO_3008 Overview and Policies on 5/11/23 and the other son 8/22/23. He needs to retake SCO_3008 by 10/22/23 to complete YPT.

It looks like he needs to retake 3008 Overview and Policies. It was taken more than 60 days from the other 3 modules (3009, 3010, and 3011).

Training courses 10 03 2023

I have a parent who applied to be a new Den Leader, she took the training but it is not showing as completed on her application. She has sent me screenshots of completed Mandatory modules and test. Her MID is 14271204.

@ChadCerar the courses were taken over too long a period of time - all must be taken within 60 days

You can use the chatbot (“Betty”) at my.scouting to get the course dates. Click on the “Training History” button. You will need to know the BSA member ID number and correct spelling of last name.
