2 profiles no emails

I have a parent with 2 profiles and she cannot get emails. Is there away to merge the profiles and fix it ao she can get emails. Our coucil level administrator is not able to merge the accounts.

It’s usually easiest if the involved party posts. Can you provide Member ID (not names please!) for the impacted parent?

Do you see both profiles in the Send Messages interface at classic Scoutbook? If so, is either one tagged as “No Emails”? If so, the user will need to reset that flag once the Scoutbook accounts are merged.

Okay the profile I want I can see its 13940248 the other one wont let me click edit profile or view it it just exists. For some reason I can send an email to this account now. But the other account shows up as a connection to the scout. The scouts BSA number is as follows 137348854. The Parent is claiming she sees both accounts and both show the same BSA number, so something is weird there. One of the accounts email addresses is a dummy email address. I can give you pictures if you want them send directly to you. Sorry to drop this but she is also getting an error message saying someone else is using her email address. That could be the noemail@none.com

We need to involve one of the @SUAC who can actually help directly. I’m just a unit ASM who helps with diagnostics on the boards. The SUAC can actually do stuff.

Okay thank you. I appreciate you looking into this.

@edavignon, are you still on?

@T.Krein I really do not follow what you are saying. The mothers email was on the scouts account causing the warning, I cleared the email

@T.Krein There was a weird thing with the parent’s connections to the Scout in Scoutbook. That has been fixed.

Please ask the local council to use the Registrar Tools to fix the “Relationships” between the parent and the Scout. Right now, the parent is listed as “Son of” the child. The council can temporarily remove the relationships, then add them back again.
