I suddenly can no longer load/view any of the scouts in our B/G troops’ rosters.
On a mobile device I get a 403 error, on a desktop it just doesn’t do anything when I click the kid.

@ElizabethSteffen1 - have you read this:
Thanks for the extremely quick response!
So, am I reading that correctly to say I need to apply to our Charter Organization Rep in order to restore what seems like basic functions? I guess I had seen that post you link to and I figured that existing functionality wasn’t being summarily removed. I guess I stand corrected. Thanks. And is that right that there isn’t access to find MBCs? Really?
@ElizabethSteffen1 - what is your registered position in the unit(s) from my.scouting.org
For one troop it has me as a Committee member and for the other an Assistant Scoutmaster.
I could access the scouts’ records last week in the troop for which I am listed as Committee member.
@ElizabethSteffen1 - so using the document the key 3 in each unit would need to assign the rights needed for the role you have and what you are looking to do.
No. Any of the Key 3 or Key 3 Delegates can assign folks to the abilities matrix. I just did this for my troop. It was pretty fast, given that I already knew what permissions our troop previously had set. The COR or COR Delegate can alter registered positions at my.scouting if necessary. It looks like Key 3 or Key 3 Delegates can alter the registered positions in SB+ (although I haven’t tried myself, as a Key 3 Delegate).
Not yet in SB+, but presumably on the Coming Soon list. This can still be done in classic Scoutbook (at least for the moment).
Thank you! Very helpful to know it’s not too onerous to ask someone to do.
I did a dozen or so ASMs and a similar number of committee members in about a half hour. I already had a list of what we had previously for folks’ access (I was our SB admin back in the day), so mapping it onto the new permissions was reasonably straightforward. Of course, there’s still time before our next committee meeting to find out that I broke/missed something, so we’ll see. :^)
@ElizabethSteffen1- it is very easy and quick to set folks up.
