Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have 2 active registrations Troop 0126G and Troop 0026B in Council 488 and one in Council 474 as Assistant Advisor CREW 0014
My access to Scoutbook is not correct
It doesn’t show my correct profile in council 488
It doesn’t allow access to my own children’s profiles in council 488
It doesn’t allow me Key 3 (Scoutmaster) access to my Troop 126G in Council 488
It doesn’t allow me access (Assistant Scoutmaster) to Troop 26B in Council 488
It doesn’t allow me access to my (Assistant Advisor) Crew 14 in Council 474
logging into My.scouting directly shows the correct access for Troop 126 but accessing internet advancement from scoutbook it says I do not have the correct level of access.
That will always happen - Scoutbook only supports One BSA # and you have at least 2 (every council has different MIDs) - You should be able to log into my.scouting.org > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > Then go to Scoutbook.com and log in using your my.scouting.org credentials
On Scoutbook - you just need to choose a MID (BSA#) with a registered position as your primary. Then the units can manually add you as a leader in scoutbook, but with wrong MID for them.
