Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I have a parent of a scout who recently transferred into our Troop from another State/council who has two profiles. I can only see the member ID number of one, the other says I don’t have authorization to view the profile.
Parent initials: EBS
Member ID#: 140204166
Can we get these two profiles (or any others he may have) merged into one?
I found 2 my.scouting.org IDs for this individual, both logged in to this week. I need to merge these into one. Which does he want to use. His e-mail address or the portion of the e-mail address before the @?
He did mention in an email to me that he does still want to view his other son’s (MS) scoutbook but he has not transferred to out unit, so I have no information on him.
I’m on similar boat from long time and wondering whom to contact. Would it be possible to link my both Youth’s into one Parent ID so that I can do only one YPT when ever it expires and maintain one profile? Preference is to use 13673795 as Parent ID. Thank you.
My Details ============ Youth Member ID 13673826 Parent Member ID 13673795 ======== Youth Member ID 132081625 Parent Member ID 13256852
@VenuSadu1 that is fixed - your Username remains for log in - not your email log in
I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number - you are already connected to D that way but not N
