We have noticed that one of our scouts who has been with our unit since 2020 has an empty activity log. Five years of camping, service, hiking etc are all gone. In addition to this the entire leadership history is empty.
BSA ID: 137004500. which is what is registered to our troop.
A while back I had reached out bc this scout had multi into another unit in another council. In doing so it had created another user id but was still linked to our unit. Now that the user IDs and sb user ids have separated the entire history of items has disappeared. Mom states that activity completed with our group, entered by myself shows in the other scout book.

@AnastasiaDittrich well being in 2 councils has complicated this scouts experience. We can get it cleaned up for know BUT it will move forward as 2 separate users that are not connected. So advancement and Logs will be individual. Is that how they want to go forward?
Ideally in a perfect world it would be one record of activities that would communicate seamlessly. Unfortunately, I do not think it will realistically work that way. I do have other youth and leaders where this does however for this scout though if it’s best to keep it as two individual I can live with that. I was able to enter a camping trip we did this weekend and it appears so the historical data is what I am after at this point.
I had tried to utilize our council to sort this out but they told me they couldn’t help me with anything to do with scoutbook. I appreciate the help with this issue and our previous one.
@AnastasiaDittrich- a multiple registration in the same council should work as they keep the same member id and scoutbook id. Multiple council registration is where it gets messy as it is different id for membership and scoutbook
