Scout moved from FL June 2024 to NC and has been dual enrolled in both troops and councils. When Scoutbook Plus rolled out he went missing from the NC troop roster which showed he was not renewing. Council advised Committee Chair to delete the scout and it should refresh with his info, this was not the case and he completely disappeared from the roster of both troops and his log in would no longer work. This has been ongoing since September 2025. He is finally showing back on the NC troop roster but all of his information is completely gone (has been in scouting since Tiger Cub and currently working on Eagle). I fortunately took screen shots of everything in his account before it all disappeared. Council said she has sent tickets to national but I have yet to ever get a response back from her as to what was found and how to fix this massive issue that has only been made worse with her advising us to delete him. I am hoping someone here can work some magic to get him back in the system.

@RobertScott6 ok here is the first issue before it is looked at - in Scoutbook you can only have one Member ID per account. Is the scout actively involved in advancement and activities in both Units? If so we will need to make 2 different users that are independent of each other
Yes he is active with both troops. In the legacy and early part of Plus everything was visible and working with both of his units but then everything disappeared when an update occurred so I guess things finally started glitching at that point with the two numbers. How do we go about creating 2 independent user accounts and will his email be able to be used with both just different user names or how would that work?
@RobertScott6 OK - Advancement is not going to match - it is best for scout to decide which unit they will Advance in and have units work together to record advancement in that one account. And we need to know that in order to set it up
If we can get everything set up for his primary troop (Troop 202 with Daniel Boone Council) since that is where he lives now and he can connect with the leaders of the FL troop on MB work that they complete together that would be great. His Eagle project is being on worked on in NC so that is the troop that is needing the most connection with him and his advancements.
@RobertScott6 this is set now - the scout can switch between logins using my.scouting.org > manage Member ID > one set to primary is the one the scout will log into
Fantastic, thank you very much! I see him on my roster again with a status of renewed and expiration of “Future” so I am not sure if that is another issue or just something that needs time to sync up. All of his rank advancement, awards, and merit badges are back as well. The only thing I am not seeing is his logs are all at zero but when I go into them they show all of the entries. Is this something that just needs time to sync or is there anything I need to do on my end? Thank you again so much for all of your help with these issues!
