Activity Log Issue-"Not Found in Active Unit"

While I appreciate the idea of the Activity Log, I am getting an error code on Scouts who are linked and active with out Troop. Has anyone else had the privilege of dealing with this message? Would you be so kind as to guide me on how to correct this so I can update the camping/service logs? THANKS!!!

is this a recently crossed over cub scout? If so the council did not end the Cub Scout membership in AKELA

I wish it were that simple! Nope, this error code is showing up for Scouts who are established with our Troop, as well as a few new move ins. While there are three who may not yet be fully integrated over to their newest Troop (ours) I have a few scouts who have been with us, and had been able to update them prior, to this new system.

Check your roster in member manager. Are they there?

Yes, they are listed as active, fully connected members of our Troop. I have attempted to go into their individual accounts and approach the Activity Log from there and receive the same message.

@LoriHolmes - I think Jacob was asking you to check member manager at my.scouting.org for those scouts.

Adding on to @Stephen_Hornak and @jacobfetzer’s comments, the Member Manager at my.scouting.org is only available to people in certain roles:

  • Unit Key 3 (SM, CC, COR)
  • Unit Key 3 Delegates designated in the Organizational Security Manager at my.scouting.org
  • Unit Registration Inquiry Delegates designated in the Organizational Security Manager at my.scouting.org
  • Unit Chartered Org Rep Delegates designated in the Organizational Security Manager at my.scouting.org (I think)

Pack Trainer can also access Member Manager.

Thanks, @DougWright. I knew that they could access training records, but didn’t realize that was through the Member Manager.

Pack Trainers can access both Training Manager and Member Manager. :grin: Best kept secret of being a Pack Trainer - this is part of the job, so doesn’t expire with each recharter and need to be reset.
