Activity Log Report Does Not Run

I am trying to run the Activity Log Report in Scoutbook. I choose my options, choose Run, it spins for a couple of seconds….and nothing happens.

If I try the CSV option, I get a blank file.

If I try the PDF option, I do get a PDF…of the options I chose to run the report for.

I am also having this problem today.

@EileenWang does a REF # show?

Not that I’m seeing. If I try to run a quick report from the roster with an individual scout selected, it automatically downloads an empty csv file. When I go into the reports menu and choose to view the activity log, I can choose the different formats, including a pdf, but it only gives me the adults and my child. It doesn’t give me the information for any of the other scouts.

@EileenWang and this is for 300G?

Yes. This is for 300G

@EileenWang- the scouts have entries in their logs when you go to their profile in advancements.scouting.org ?

Yes. They have camping nights, hiking miles, and service hours.

@EileenWang- do they also have a date joined Scouts BSA on their profile page ?

I also could have sworn that before I could pull up their Activity Log reports using the Run Report dropdown in their individual profiles in scoutbook. But now when I click on that drop-down, the only reports available are payment log reports, scouts bsa history report, and scouts bsa individual advancement record.

Yes. The scout I was just trying to pull it for has a date joined.

@EileenWang - a run of the activity log report from the reports menu it will default to current dates starting with 1/1. At the bottom of that config page will show a ref number.

Ahhh..Didn’t realize that’s where to find the reference number. The reference number for the report I ran from the reports menu and view activity log is PD-20260313084018-577212-169617. This is the one that only included all the adults and my child.

I just wanted to check in on this since the Activity Logs are still not working for me. Our troop’s scoutmaster also tried last week when I wasn’t able to access them and she was unable to access them as well. Thanks for your help!

@EileenWang - did the scoutmaster make sure the correct drop-down was selected in the upper right in advancements.scouting.org?

@EileenWang is this an issue of not being able to access Activity Logs or not being able to access the Activity Log report?

It is the report. I can access all of the activity logs on scoutbook.

So what is screen when you try to access? you get an error?

I believe so. She has printed them out before and she was unable to do so when we spoke.

When I select a scout and go to quick report and select activity log, it automatically downloads a blank csv file to my computer. When I look at the file in my downloads, it is 0 bytes.
