When exporting an activity report to a CSV, the headers are misaligned.
It does no good unless you include the REF# of the report
Where would one find a reference number for this report? It is the Activity Log Report
@JeremyGinsberg- at the bottom after you click run and before clicking the csv
ref: PD-20260104091632-626611-913715
Some CSV files have their own # in the CSV
Not in this one that I can see. I can send you the file directly if needed, just let me know where.
@DonovanMcNeil - If you are confusing this item with the Join Date error, it still hasn’t been fixed. There was a note in the January 7th change log stating that this might be fixed, but it hasn’t been.
@JeremyGinsberg it is reported fixed to us - if you still see it on CSV export tell us
Pack0643ActivityLogReport_20260109.csv (62.4 KB)
I took the last names out from Column C to protect the innocent ![]()
Can you get the REF from the Report
@JeremyGinsberg I just checked this again and it is making a fine CSV for me
Ok so it seems like the output varies based on clicking Run then CSV vs. just CSV. Also, based on the type of log you pull. If you want service you then get the headers
| BSA Member ID | First Name | Middle Name | Last Name |
|---|
But any of the other logs dont put these heads in place…
Just very inconsistent based on the order of operations.
CSV present fine either way I run it - CSV - or Run/CSV
@JeremyGinsberg - I use the exp button and I think that may work better for you
Thanks - yes, I honestly overlooked the EXP button, thought it meant Expired since there is a CSV button. The output of the EXP is much cleaner, consistent and easier to work with than the CSV button.
