We know that at this time of year, council registrars are finishing up (we hope) the last of rechartering. This means that new applications/position change applications, may take a backseat to that task.
I was given payment for a new scout joining our pack last night. Den Leader would like me to put him into Scoutbook before the app gets processed, so he can enter what the scout has done in his first couple of meetings, including earning his Bobcat.
My question is, if I manually enter him into Scoutbook rather than waiting for council to process him, will that cause issues when his application goes through?
It will be fine as long as you enter full name EXACTLY as it appears on application, same with address and DOB
and as long as your registrar enters them exactly as they appear on the application
