While adding a transfer Cub Scout to Scoutbook, Scoutbook says the i.d. is already in Scoutbook, the original Pack says they have never used Scoutbook. Additional question, is this the best place to report Scoutbook/membership issues?

@DavidEvans1 - David every registered scout is in the scoutbook database even if the unit never used it. If you process the transfer via the standard app and council process, they will be added to the roster automatically.
Thank you Stephen, can you please clarify “Standard App”?
@DavidEvans1 - why certainly… the scout parent fills out the youth application and unit submits to council.
Youth Application, form 524-406, 2018 Printing (1218), SKU 646302.
Northern Star registrars are very quick to process transfer applications (either on the AOL crossover sheet) or via a new Youth application. If using the Youth application, be sure to include the Scout’s BSA member ID from the pack on the application. The Scout will be moved to your roster in Scoutbook within 48 hours of the transfer being processed.
