Adding an MBC connection for multiple scouts

As recommended by Donovan McNeil, I tried adding an MBC for several scouts at once using the extension feature, but received this message:

Does anyone know another way to do this?

It’s extremely cumbersome to make the MBC connections one by one for a large group.

I tried this again with a more refined search which allowed one MBC to appear in the search results.

I attempted to add connections, but only two of our scouts appear in the list of available connections.

I’m not sure why the entire roster of scouts who have not yet completed the merit badge are not populating in the list of scouts to select.

Anyone have an idea?

Have the scouts had the badge “started” in Scoutbook? Alternatively, are they already connected to someone as a counselor for that badge?

No, the connection does not already exist w/ another MBC.

We have 17 scouts, several new scouts who have zero merit badges and no connections to MBCs, none of them are coming up in that list.

Maybe I need to rephrase my question.

In Scoutbook, to connect a scout to a MBC, you first have to “start” the MB for the scout by going to the scout’s advancement page and “adding” the MB if it isn’t already listed by clicking the “Start a merit badge” button.

Have all of the scouts you’re trying to add already had that step completed?

I did not realize that. Opening the merit badge also provides a shortcut to invite the MBC at the same time which was the solution to my original question.
