I continue to get emails saying my YPT has expired, for BSA ID # 133268793. However, I just retook it, under my real BSA ID# which is 111622256 (Greater St Louis Area Council), and is on my my.scouting account. my.scouting will not let me add the second number to my account - I think because it was created by national, so is not associated with a council?
How can I get these emails to stop?
- Desktop (but irrelevant)
- MacOS 14.5 (but irrelevant)
- Safari 17.5 (but irrelevant)
- Yes (but irrelevant)
- See above.
@LisaBalbes ok that is Fixed - in 000 Council (National) your gender is wrong, so they need to fix that.
For training what you need to do is this. All Training Copies to whatever MID is Primary in Manage Member ID at my.scouting.org. So make the 8793 Primary for a period of time and check to see if training has synced (can take up to 24 hours, can be near instant) - in that time period I would not log into any Scouting America system but my.scouting.org. Once training is synced then setup Primary MID as you need it (Primary MID Tells system who you are in Scouting America and What your Registration is - it is isolated to Council.)
Thank you! You did indeed get the national number on my profile. “000 Council” does not appear on the drop-down list, so there was no way I could do that. I flipped the primary number for a couple days, and will see if that stops the emails. My profile has alway shown YPT as current, so that does not tell me anything.
@LisaBalbes You should be good now. Your training shows up on the other MID.
