I have an adult leader that has 2 separate entries: one as ‘committee chair’ and the other as ‘den leader’. Can I simply remove the ‘den leader’ entry without impacting anything else related to this leader? Also, is the reason for the ‘+’ sign next to the ‘den leader’ entry because he has 2 positions?
Yes, this is called multiple registration.
The Chartered Organization Representative (position code CR) can be registered in more than one position within the same unit. The CR may also serve in a multiple capacity as the committee chair (position code CC) or as a Committee Member (MC), New Member Coordinator (NM) or Pack Trainer (PT) within that same unit.
A Committee Chair cannot have a multiple registration as a Den Leader within the same unit (pack).
@DeborahDelano - here is the other possible scenario. I am the Committee chair for a pack, troop and crew under the same charter org so I will be listed in each but pay registration for one unit.
