All scout info disappeard

Sorry long complicated story.
Scout moved from seattle to Tennessee. Finished all of scouting here minus 3 merit badges. Joined a troop in Tennessee but wanted to complete Eagle with our troop. Apparently for this to happen she needed two bsa ids according Tennessee council.

She completed her Eagle Board of review through seattle council. Paperwork submitted by seattle council.

Somehow the eagle rank was applied to her tennessee id not to the seattle id. The parent has tried to get it fixed but both councils say there is nothing she can do. This past month I noticed all data from her profile has disappred. It says she has no rank, 1 merit badge, no activity logs. Seattle council told the parent to change thier primary council to seattle to see if it will “fix” itself.

In the meantime, she has decided not to renew with tennessee troop during recharter. I am worried that all her data will be permenetely lost.

We are starting to plan her Eagle COH for the spring, when she comes to visit. This puts a wrinkle in those plans, as we cannot access her history.

Further things that add complexity and may attribute to display issues, our troop is part of the coed pilot and our girls are dual registered with 8498 and 498, this happened in August. Her younger brothers belong to a troop in Tennessee so the parents need to be connected to kids in different councils.

Can you see about getting her seattle bsaid corrected to show all of her record?

@KristaHolmes I do not have time to look at now - but if applied to Tennessee BSA # - that council entered the Eagle - it is councils that enter Eagles and they can only enter stuff for their own Council BSA#s

OK I think the Scout logged in and created a blank SB User Account - if the chief Seattle is the account they want to use we can re-establish that and freeze it so it cannot jump to other councils.

That would be wonderful, thank you.

@KristaHolmes ok all should be back now

Thanks. It is close. Looks much better, but only shows life scout rank and tennessee council at the bottom. Is there something we need to do on our end?

@KristaHolmes I have updated the council in Scoutbook.

Let’s wait overnight and see if the Eagle Scout rank syncs to Scoutbook.

@KristaHolmes It looks like the Eagle Scout rank has synced to Scoutbook.

I would recommend having the Scout double-check that everything else is there.

Thank you all for the help!
