Another Troop 1140 Duplicate Adult

We have a College Unit Reserve svout who just completed their YPT training. It wasnt showing up on my end so they provided me with their certificate. It has a completely new membership number then the one we have for them. The recover user name shows 2 accounts for them, but it allow them to merge them.

1st ID:
SB User ID:
2623078
BSA Member ID:
119685766

Their 2nd ID:
BSA Member ID:
125611162

Their old training is on their 119685766 number while their 2022 training is on the 125611162 number.

Thank you all for your continued help in fixing these duplicates for our Troop.

@JasonHuggins has user tried log into my.scouting.org > click Menu top left > Click Manage Member ID > one of the BSA # will be there marked PRIMARY > then add the other MID (BSA #) - you want to make the one that is your unit registration PRIMARY > Then go to Scoutbook.com and log in using your my.scouting.org credentials - then you can end membership of the extra? That is the self fix

User used a login that was 10 years old to take YPT

Donovan,

This is the error message he gets when trying to add his NCAC membership, which we have in our roster:

The Far East Council was when he was in elementary school.

How do we add this to his account if it won’t let him?

Thanks,

Jason

@JasonHuggins ok Middle Name difference - so NCAC needs to be primary? I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green dot with a number 1 > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
