App advancement recording error for Cub Scout adventure

I am attempting to make a video tutorial for my pack families on how to record advancement information for their child using the app, however, when I record an example of my child completing a requirement of the marble madness bear adventure over the summer it’s popping back an error.

My child is a bear and marble madness is still an elective adventure. Everything looks good, so I don’t understand the error.

@KatieGooding have you logged into Advancements.scouting.org and made sure the scout was on the correct Den and Rank version?

Heads up, this is not resolved. I just attempted again and am getting the same error.

And actually, it is an issue with other adventures as well

We are getting an error as well. It works on the website but not in the app. I have 5 other parents that are having the same issues.

The app has not yet been updated for the new Cub Scout program. Have everyone use https://advancements.scouting.org instead of the app.

What is the ETA on this for this is a little frustrating that we are over a month into our year and we have to tell people they can’t use the app?

We were told by local council to log it there so now have to back track on that.

BSA IT does not provide timelines for fixes. Continue using https://advancements.scouting.org to record Cub Scout advancement.

@RyanSchaefer simple answer is it does not - IT decides what/when/if things are worked on. You can send in to council and they can send in a Membercare ticket if they choose to.

Your council staff can open a member care ticket with national.
