As den leader, how to quick entry for completing adventures?

Hello,

I am a den leader (from the den page URL: UnitID=88446&DenID=273694). I would like to use quick entry to check off adventures that my den is completing together. I used to be able to do this, but now I can’t find it.

What is the normal way to do this? Can someone help me get set up to do it, if I’m not already?

I note that I appear to be a den leader, but not a den admin. There is a page that shows positions and it says I used to be a den admin. I haven’t messed with this configuration, but maybe someone else at the pack has. I tried to make myself an admin, but it wouldn’t allow me to do that myself.

In Scoutbook, go to:

My Dashboard → My Account → My Positions

Under “My Past Positions”, find your Den Leader position for your assigned den. Click on it, remove the Date Ended, and click “Update” to save.

Repeat for your Den Admin role.

Then ask a Pack Admin to re-approve your Den Leader and Den Admin positions / roles. They need to do this by going through the Pack Roster page, then:

  1. Click on your name.
  2. Click on your Den Admin role.
  3. Check on the box next to “Position Approved”.
  4. Click “Update” to save.
  5. Repeat the steps above for your Den Leader position.

@JenniferOlinger Thanks for your help. Here’s what happened:

Den Leader
I was already a “Lion Den Leader” but I followed your instructions and also removed the end date for the “Den Leader” position. It let me and so now I am both a “Lion Den Leader” for my pack and a “Den Leader” for my den.

Den Admin
I can’t remove the end date. It give me this error message:

I assume I need to ask my Pack Admin to fix this?

Yes, you need a Pack Admin to do it for you.
