Calendar events show different invitees depending on login

Having a problem where as Den Leader, I create an event, set my invitees to my den, and send reminders out, and a bunch of people who weren’t invited (and aren’t in my den) get the reminders.

When I look at the RSVP/Attendance list logged in as a Den Leader, I see the 11 youth and 13 adults that should be invited.

However! When i look at the RSVP/Attendance list for the same event logged in as a Parent, suddenly there are 27 Youth and 30 Adults - these additional people are NOT other registered leaders, they are not connected to my den in any fashion, they’re just random, and mostly brand new people to our Pack, and they are getting very confused with these reminder emails.

One event number is 7000114

Anyone have any insight? Is there a unit setting somewhere that is adding these people to emails (but that I can’t somehow see as the event creator?)

@JessicaBuono I think the first step is asking a Key 3 (chair or CM) what they see on the same event? Do they see all the invitees? Is it on the Den Calendar or the Pack Calendar?

I’ve asked two of the 3, and they see the same thing I do - the lower number of people when they’re logged in as admin, and a higher number if they’re logged in as a Parent.

It’s on the den calendar.

What if there is no RSVP?

If i remove the RSVP, nothing changes, on this or on future events (event 7000117 has no one RSVP’d yet, RSVP is turned off, but still the same - all of the extra people show when I view the event as a parent, but not as a Den Leader/Calendar Admin)

@JessicaBuono ok a few questions from Staff: the AOL Den meeting on September 27th

  1. Did you make the event?
  2. Was the add future Scouts checkbox on when made?
  3. Was this a purely NEW event? or was it a duplicated event?
  4. Was this an old Imported event from Legacy?
