Calendar messaging - does it work?

The Feature Assistant Table of Contents says that there is “Calendar Messaging You can select inviteees based on their RSVP status and attendees based on attendance to send them messages.” However, the link to the document that would explain this function is broken. Does anyone know if Calendar Messaging works, how to use it, and/or where the document actually lives?

There was a security update by Google to the drive, so I had to get a new link. The new link is 8b. Calendar Based Messaging Extension for Scoutbook.pdf - Google Drive

Yes, the feature works. Edit the event and you will see a messaging option button under the invitee list.
