Unable to add MBC connection to scout in connections page. When I search for a MBC, I get a popup that indicates: “No record found that satisfies the search criteria.”
This occurs for the intended counselor under every combination of search with name, BSA ID, and email. I also tried searches by name of other local counselors for the particular merit badge and all return the same results.
I have “full control” access to the scout, and I was able to add an existing connection to this scount as MBC for a new merit badge. The MB Counselor list function, separate from the connections function, does show the intended MBC as a valid counselor for the intended merit badge.
The issue appears to be with the search function and new connections.

I only have the BSA ID for the MBC, not the SBUID.
If I do not, I have to enter City and State with the other search criteria and I get the same message: No record found that satisfies the search criteria.
@RichardObert - I just tried what Jen suggested and it did indeed work. You will need to use the city, state and email as noted on the MBS list from the unit page

I unchecked the MBC only box and put in all the other information and searched from all councils and was able to locate the MBC and add to the scout.
