Cannot access merit badge record in Scoutbook of a single scout

Hello,

  1. Detailed description of the issue: I have been assigned as merit badge counselor to two sisters. I am able to access one sister’s record, but get this message with the other:

  2. I am also getting this error:

  3. If applicable, name of rank, adventure, merit badge or award including the version. The scout’s rank is

  4. Scouting America Member ID (no names) of the Scout where the error occurred: 13370763

  5. If YOU did not encounter the error, the Scouting America Member ID (no names) of the member who did: I encountered the error

@GretchenJones- you need to use the mbc menu under the my account line on the legacy scoutbook dashboard

@GretchenJones clicking MY Connection is the wrong path - as Stephen says - go to Legacy Dashboard in SB > Top Left area is called My Merit Badge Counseling > that has all you need.

Thank you both, I understand, but even through that path, the system is not letting me access the scout’s merit badge for which I’ve been assigned counselor. Here is another view where her name is greyed out:

The sister’s I am able to access (checked), but the one with the issue, I cannot.

@GretchenJones- you can connect yourself with their last name and member id number.

I did this, but she is still greyed out. I will give it 24-48 hours and see if the system just needs to update.

@GretchenJones - did you check off the appropriate merit badge ?

Hi Stephen,

I figured out the problem. The two are using different versions of the same merit badge, so I have to select them separately. Thanks for your patience.
