I am trying to change a scout’s Second Class Scoutmaster conference date (requirement 11) which was incorrectly entered. The scout is now Life. I keep getting a message that the youth has not completed previous rank or previous rank’s scoutmaster conference and is ineligible for making this requirement complete. Both Scout and Tenderfoot requirements are already complete. Any help is appreciated.
Since the Scout is already a Life Scout, the actual Scoutmaster Conference date for 2nd Class does not matter. I would not bother trying to change it at this point.
The scout is getting ready for his Eagle book review, so I have been trying to get all the dates to match the scout’s physical book copy. It is my understanding that they will be checking that all the dates match up. In the old system it was very easy to update any mistakes that had been made, this new system has been a challenge to fix previously entered information. I do have more scouts information to check over, so I was hoping there was a solution to the problem in case it comes up again.
What is an Eagle Book Review? There is no requirement that the Scout even have dates written in a handbook.
The Eagle Application is all that is required. The dates on the application must match the dates in Scoutbook. There are no Scoutmaster Conference dates on the Eagle application.
@RebeccaZino- the only thing council sees is the final date for ranks and merit badges. The process you are describing is well outside of the guide to advancement and should not be happening.
