Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I’m the advancement chair for our troop and unable to award a First Class rank advancement to a scout because the previous Scoutmaster conference date is not listed. I’m finding that I cannot edit the dates because the rank has already been marked approved and awarded. Anyone have an idea of how I can fix this?
I’ve noticed that some rank advancement and previous purchase orders migrated incorrectly.
There are known issues with the Scoutmaster Conference requirement. Did the Scout complete 2nd Class? Was 2nd class on the current version or previous version? The issue seems to affect Scouts that used the previous version of the previous rank.
She earned Second Class in May and it was recorded through the previous version of SB. Because the Second Class Scout Master Conference date wasn’t recorded in SB it won’t allow us to award First Class.
