Cannot enter MB completion as a MBC using SB Plus

In the previous version of Scoutbook, once I logged in, I was able to enter Merit Badge completions. In the new Scoutbook Plus version, however, I have not been able to find a way to do this.

I can see the Merit Badges for which I am listed as a counselor, but clicking on them does not appear to do anything. Likewise, clicking on a Scout’s name in the roster does not open their records or provide any options related to Merit Badge advancement.

The only time I was able to access records was when I clicked on the names of my own children, which allowed me to view their information.

Could you please advise me on how Merit Badge counselors are supposed to enter completions in Scoutbook Plus?

I am an approved MBC but now I have no way to function as one because I have no way of accessing their records.

Have you followed the instructions in the help wiki Stephen posted? Where in the steps there are you getting an error?

I think the problem is I don’t see “Counseled youth” under my approved

MBs. I also don’t see “MBC Dashboard” as described in the instruction.

Is your MBC role selected in the upper right drop-down? If so, I would try a forced refresh of the page to see if there’s something stale in your cache.

And you’re definitely connected to scouts in SB+ as a MBC, right, not just as a unit scouter?

@EricChang - if you read the instructions it notes that you have to select the mbc role in the upper-right.

Checking the upper right hand pull down menu was the key step I missed. Thanks.
