I assistance in merging or deleting a SB account. In trying to give my son access he created an account rather than accepting the invite and now I cannot (re) invite him due to error “It looks like [Scout] already created his own Scoutbook account. If you want him to be able to login and access this account he must remove his existing account first.”
I am unable to figure out how to simply delete the 2nd (incorrect) account he created.

@RyanGalyen Please ask the Scout to log all the way out, then log back in again.
The reason a new BSA member ID number was created is because the Scout’s date of birth is slightly different. Please double-check the Scout’s date of birth. If it needs to be corrected, your local council can fix it.
We must have been inpatient about something, because now that we’ve logged out, restarted the browser, cleared everything and logged back in, it does seem attached correctly now.
It was definitely was NOT earlier, it had a clear message both from my side as a parent and his side when logged in, that his email address was already used and needed to be deleted in one place or another. Thank you for the assist.
