FYI, BSA IDs are ok to post without names. Try not to include the associated names with the IDs. Initials (if needed) are usually sufficient to differentiate between youth.
Were you the parent listed on the new scout application for your scout? If not, it might be the other parent that is listed (assuming there’s a shared email address).
@MichaelJohnston1 I recommend that you contact your local council and ask them to use the Registrar Tools to look up your children. When they look up your children, they want to check your children’s “User Relationship” and make sure that your children are connected to you as parent with Only your correct BSA member ID number

I dont know how. How do i do that? When i go on advancement it shows that i am his parent/den leader
It’s not something you can do yourself. That’s why you need to talk to your council’s Registrar who can use their tools to add the connection in the Akela membership database (which I’d different from the SB/SB+ database).
I figured it out! Thanks for the help. Ive had 2 accounts merged into one, The one setup as a den leader cant renew him, but the other one could. I just had to switch member ID’s as primary and back again. Go figure…

Glad you were able to work around the underlying issue. You’ll likely still want to have the registrar correct the relationship or you’ll have to go through this every time you renew. transfer, etc.
You should still follow up with your council registrar to get your register position(s) and parent relationships all on the same member number, and only that member number. Otherwise, you will continue to have issues.

There is usually contact info somewhere on the council website.

If you call your local council’s service center and explain to them what you need, they should be able to help you. What you need is for the council to use the Registrar Tools to remove your parent “relationship” from your secondary BSA member ID number, and add your parent relationship to your primary BSA number. This will help to prevent future issues.
