I keep trying to update the rank advancement record for one of my Scouts, and after a long dely I get a message that says, “Whoops! We encountered an error trying to process your request.” I am then directed to this forum.
I have tried restarting my Browser, my computer, and I even cleared my cache. However, I have get the same error message every time.
Same Problem! I restarted and had trouble even signing in. The scout I am working on, in particular, is 135478542.
Any help would be wonderful.
If it helps any, mine also spins (thinks) for quite a while before it tells me the error, also.
You are not currently registered in Troop 350B. I do not believe this is causing the problem but it may become an issue in the future. In addition, since you are SM in 350G, you should not be a Key 3 Delegate in 350G because you are already Key 3.
I don’t see any reason you would be getting an error with that Scout as his registrations and your connection look correct. Maybe another SUAC member will see something I do not.
Sorry I didn’t chime back in last night, I had to leave for a Scout meeting. I tried again this morning and had no problem. Not sure what was up, but I’m glad it was short-lived.
In the future I will be sure to include the BSA member ID to assist in any trouble-shooting.
