Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
I’m a AOL den leader and up until Aug. 10th I was able to mark off completed tasks. Now everything is disabled. I now have this comment when I open up a task for each of my scouts:
Youth is not eligible to earn this advancement and must be registered in the appropriate den level for this rank (Keep in mind a rank will be automatically started when a youth is assigned to a den and cannot be revoked, but eligibility to record progress is dependent on den assignment).
Help please,
Thank you, Mike
@MikeSchmidt - are the scouts in an AOL den… I suspect that they are not if you are trying to add AOL adventures. The message means exactly what it states.
Yes, they are all in an AOL den. I have entered electives that my kids have completed this summer with no issue. Now everything is disable and there is a box that says "youth is not eligible to earn this aware. I’m on 2024 current. No one can tell my why every task is disabled? For example my scouts have completed 1-4 on knife safety and I was able to log those as done. It shows the date 1-4 was completed but says disabled.
@MikeSchmidt - that is why we were asking if they were in an AOL den…and as you show they are NOT in an AOL den.The den must be advanced to AOL in edit den.
