Can't Enter Adventures

I’m not sure what’s going on. I go to select the adventure, choose the kids, confirm they did all the requirements. As soon as I select the date of completion in the calendar menu I’m given an error at the bottom of the screen. It says “Something Happened. Please try again or refresh the page”. I refresh the page again and I have to start all over selecting kids, etc, and it gives the same error message after I try to select the date of completion. Is there an ETA for this to be fixed? I’m on Android. I’ve used Chrome and Firefox.

@TimothyAdair2 - is this on advancements.scouting.org ? Is your role selected in the upper right of the page ?

Yes I’m on Scoutbook Plus not the legacy site. I’m logged and my role is selected.

@TimothyAdair2 - all of the scouts are in the correct den ? What adventure and is it on the 2024 version ?

This is the 2024 version and this is under the unit quick entry. All scouts are in the correct den. They are all Wolves. I’m trying to add the Council Fire adventure.

I was able to dust off my laptop and I got the adventures added using Firefox on Windows 10. I’m still not sure why I couldn’t do the same thing on my phone like I’ve done for more than a year with no issues. This is definitely still an issue. I’ve also had a another Den Leader in my pack who is having similar issues adding Advancements.

Sounds like on phone an extension on browser or something - what phone and what OS?

I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S20FE. Running the latest version of Android using Chrome.

@TimothyAdair2 - you could try an incognito session on your phone to see if that is any better.

I opened an incognito tab in chrome. Went to Scoutbook Plus and tried the Unit Quick Entry. As soon as I selected a day in the calendar this message: “Something happened
Please try again or refresh the page.” showed up at the bottom of the page.

I am unable to see some adventures (AOL Bobcat) and it brings me to the same error as trying to enter an event in the calendar.

Also I checked to make sure I was logged in with access and it is occuring with either the committee Chair or the committee member with the troop. I have refreshed and cleared my cache.

What platform (mobile, laptop), Operation System (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac) and version are you using?

@WendyMinor-Finch I’m sorry that you’re experiencing a similar problem but I’m sort of relieved that it happened to someone else. I felt like I was the only one this is happening to. I still can’t get this to work on my Phone.
