Can't Log into Scoutbook Plus

Update/Resolved:
Per the description below, Scoutbook Plus appeared to lock up/freeze when I attempted to log in. As @JenniferOlinger indicated, this appears to have been caused by to my registration lapsing, and renewing my registration with both Scouting America and then my Pack resolved my login issues.

Original Post:
I’m able to log in to Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org), but I’m unable to access Scoutbook Plus (advancements.scouting.org).

I’ve already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Cleared browser cache

  • Used an incognito/private browser window

  • Tried multiple browsers

  • Logged into Scoutbook first, then navigated to Scoutbook Plus

  • Attempted logging directly into Scoutbook Plus first

When I try logging into Scoutbook Plus directly, the CAPTCHA appears to complete but then deselects after a few moments, preventing login.

If I log into Scoutbook first and then navigate to Scoutbook Plus, the page loads but displays a continuous four-dot spinning indicator and never fully loads.

Could you please help diagnose or resolve this issue?

@HamptonFrost - first thing is that there is NO reason to be in legacy scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting.org). Can you log into my.scouting.org ? There is a tile there for scoutbook

@HamptonFrost You and your Scout’s registrations appear to be expired / lapsed and outside of the grace period.

Hello @Stephen_Hornak ,

Thank you for the response. I can successfully log in to my.scouting.org and follow the links to Scoutbook Plus, but unfortunately experience the same continuous four-dot spinning indicator and never fully loads.

An additional note; I was checking the legacy scoutbook site just in case it could help. That said, if there’s no reason to access it whatsoever, they might consider deactivating the site and removing it from the link options on my.scouting.org.

Best,

Hampton

Hello @JenniferOlinger ,
I see, thank you for checking and the response. We paid dues to the pack, so I’ll check with our treasurer and committee chair to see if there’s a disconnect.

Best,
Hampton
