Can't update advancements for a scout

Hi,
I am the COR of Troop 1456. I am trying to update the advancements data for a scout but I don’t seem to be able to do that. I thought Key 3 members have full access to Advancements. I gave myself the functional role of Advancements Chair, thinking it will help me do that. I still don’t seem to be able to make updates. Is there something I am missing or need to do?

What is the Scout’s BSA member number?

And what advancements are you trying to update?

I was trying to update things in his Life Rank. He actually finished the BOR a couple of years ago. Advancements DB was never updated. So I was going to the rest of requirements dates and award him the rank.

@NidalZeidat What date are you trying to enter for the Scout’s Life date of rank?

I assume your unit is using Troopmaster or another third party software? They need to use the upload advancements feature to Internet Advancement

@NidalZeidat If you do not upload data every Eagle will simply fail when sent in for verification

We are not using any third party software for advancements. We use Internet Advancements directly, to enter scouts’ advancements.

@WilliamNelson there are 18 approved MBs - the issue is nothing entered for 3 years or more

Only 5 show as leader approved in SB. I have requested a sync to see if the older badges approved in the old system are moved in. Nidal, the sync may take overnight to complete.

@WilliamNelson - the user did state that they do not use SB

The badges are approved. Sorry for the confusion. I was reading the report incorrectly.

@Stephen_Hornak advancements are in the SB database now even if you use IA
